The Experience is the annual benefit for the St. Croix Foundation for Community Development, a nonprofit community foundation that supports education, community revitalization, public safety, nonprofit capacity building and fiscal sponsorship. After the Virgin Islands was hit by two Category 5 Hurricanes in 2017 and then COVID-19, the work of the Foundation has become more critical than ever before. By sponsoring the St. Croix Food & Wine Experience, you directly support work that addresses root causes and approaches through an equitable, community-based lens.
Every year, St. Croix Foundation works to increase the reach and visibility of the St. Croix Food & Wine Experience, a destination event attracting high-profile members from our local community and the regional and national stage, including wine and culinary trade experts and affluent consumers. Corporate Sponsors receive extensive benefits designed to complement each corporation’s strategic marketing objectives and provide return on investment. To supplement ticketing, hospitality, marketing, and rights benefits, we work with sponsors to create the ideal partnership. In addition to increasing your company’s profile among this key demographic, a sponsorship of the Festival will also provide:
Your sponsorship supports St. Croix Foundation for Community Development, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. Sponsorships are tax deductible to the fullest extent allowable by law.
St. Croix Foundation for Community Development is the leading advocate for improved governance in our community and, since our inception, has served as both a grantmaker and operating foundation to address severe socioeconomic conditions in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Today, with 33 years of Leadership in Service to the Virgin Islands Community under our belt, our holistic work centers around positioning the Foundation as an innovation hub and the epicenter of social transformation in the Virgin Islands. To date, St. Croix Foundation has invested over $44 million into the U.S. Virgin Islands and been recognized nationally and internationally for our work in education, community revitalization, economic development, and community resilience.
Even with our track record of success, the current unprecedented economic storm in the US Virgin Islands – the closure of our largest private employer with its attendant consequences, and the landfall of two back-to-back Category 5 Hurricanes in 2017, followed by the COVID-19 Pandemic in 2020-21 – require us to redouble our efforts to lead our community forward.
We are targeting the Territory’s greatest needs by developing diverse partnerships and innovative programs. We are advocating for progressive and innovative policy reforms in education, leveraging resources in order to beautify our island and act as an economic driver, and strengthening our work with our network of nonprofits to support our community in ways that will have the greatest impact. We invite all corporate citizens and residents to join us!
