AGE REQUIREMENTS
Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older. We want to ensure that our volunteers are prepared for the tasks and responsibilities that come with supporting a large-scale event.
AVAILABILITY
We ask that each volunteer commit to at least four hours during the event. This ensures that we have the necessary support throughout the entire evening, from setup to breakdown. Whether you choose to assist with guest check-in, wine distribution, or event cleanup, your time and energy are invaluable to making sure the event runs smoothly.
PROFESSIONALISM & REPRESENTATION
As a volunteer, you will be acting as a representative of the St. Croix Foundation. We expect all volunteers to maintain a professional and positive attitude during the event, ensuring that guests have an exceptional experience. Volunteers should arrive on time, follow instructions from team leads, and work collaboratively with other volunteers and staff.
TRAINING COMMITMENT
To ensure you’re fully prepared and comfortable with your role, all volunteers are required to attend at least two training sessions and three if you are a wine pourer prior to the event. These sessions will provide essential information about your responsibilities, event logistics, and important safety protocols, ensuring you have everything you need to succeed.
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
While no previous experience is necessary, having skills in customer service, event coordination, or crowd management is a plus. We also value those with specialized skills in areas like accounting, marketing, project management, and more, which may lead to future volunteer opportunities with the St. Croix Foundation.
